KEVLAR® LANYARDS FOR HANDGUNS

Since its creation in 1995, CEV designs and manufactures coiled Kevlar® lanyards to secure weapon for army forces, Police, and Prison Officers They prevent from weapons loss during military or police operations. The coiled lanyards are the perfect solution against tearing or theft and will answer perfectly to your requirements of security.

Our coiled Kevlar® lanyards have been designed according to the technical specifications of the French Police. The quality of its material and their mechnical caracteristics are now recognized worldwide and today the lanyards are used by Police, Special Forces, Army and prison officers worldwide.

  • A loop of 70mm internal size to attach the lanyard to the duty belt.
  • On the other side, a mat snap hook secure the gun to the lanyard.
  • The special shape of the snap hook allows a use with handguns of all famous brandnames.
  • The retracted length is space efficient and the extension length has been carefully defined to avoid that the handgun falls on the floor.

Designed with a central Kevlar® element, they present a very good mechanical resistance to cut, abrasion and tearing..The Kevlar® coiled lanyards have a high memory of return even after repetitive extensions and use. The Polyurethane jacket also offers a very good resistance to UV as well as low and high temperatures for a use in every countries. CEV lanyards retain original coils after frozening and streching out.

Each kevlar® reinforced handgun lanyard is NATO codified, a warranty of high quality and an international recognition of its quality and resistance. NNO codes are hereafter stated, you can order at CEV with either our code or NNO code.

For the last 15 years, CEV  has developped coiled Kevlar® lanyards with different dimensions and metal clips to answer to special requirements of security of the Armed forces, police departments and Prison Officers  in all countries.  Special requirements have been issued regarding the extension length and/or the clips and hooks, to secure handguns but also other small items.

CEV kevlar® lanyards are now also used to secure any other small items or video and communication systems : body cameras, tasers, defensive sprays, knives, flashlights, remote controls etc…
